Experience

The Honorable Ann Marie Calabria has served our state and nation in several capacities.

Since 2003, she has served on the North Carolina Court of Appeals as both a judge and a mediator.

In 1996, Judge Calabria was elected District Court Judge for the 10th Judicial District (Wake County), continuing her service until 2002.

In both Cumberland County and in Wake County, Judge Calabria practiced law. In Cary, NC at the Law Offices of Ann Marie Calabria 1991-1996 and in Fayetteville, NC 1988—1989. She was also an Associate with Hutchens & Waple, Attorneys at Law, Fayetteville, NC,1990–1991;

She also has experience working for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, 1989–1990;

While her husband was serving in Heildelberg, Germany, Judge Calabria taught at the University of Maryland, Overseas Division, Heidelberg, Germany, 1986–1987;
